The Security Council,

Having examined the application of the Democratic Republic of Sao Tome and Principe for admission to the
United Nations,
Recommends to the General Assembly that the Democratic Republic of Sao Tome and Principe be admitted to
membership in the United Nations.

Adopted unanimously at the 1338th meeting.
